I'm Anne Jove, a top bridal makeup artist serving brides across Ireland and the United States. I am the Owner and Founder of The Beauty Consultant, the most in-demand Bridal Hair and Makeup Team of 18 artists, located in Charlotte, North Carolina. I completed my Master's degree at Trinity College Dublin, have deep family connections here in Ireland (hailing from Dublin, Westmeath, and Cavan), and am thrilled to be opening my books for Irish brides!
Beginning June, July, and August 2026, I will be servicing weddings across Ireland, with full relocation planned for 2027. All Bridal Trials for Summer 2026 Brides will be held in January 2026. How do I book my wedding makeup?
To secure your artist stress-free, we highly recommend booking 8-12 months in advance. Feel free to ask us any questions or request a phone call for clarity. When you're ready, just let us know and we’ll email your proposal. Booking requires a 50% initial, non-refundable retainer and signed contract.
I’m unsure of my headcount. Can I still book now?
Absolutely! We only need the final headcount 5 months before your wedding. If you're booking after that, we’ll provide a window for you to share this information.
When should I schedule my trial?
Anne will be in Dublin, Ireland for Bridal Makeup Trials in January 2026, in preparation for Summer 2026 weddings. She is guaranteed to be in Ireland 10 days before your wedding date, and additionally offers a-la-carte services such as night before welcome drinks glam.
Can I book without a trial?
Booking a bridal makeup trial is highly recommended because it ensures your vision for your wedding day look comes to life. During the trial, you can collaborate with your artist to refine details, test different styles, and ensure the makeup and hairstyle complement your dress, accessories, and overall theme. It also helps you feel confident and stress-free on the big day, knowing exactly what to expect and how your look will come together. Trials allow the artist to understand your preferences, skin type, and hair texture, ensuring a flawless and personalized result.
What should I bring to my trial?
Bring inspiration pictures and a positive attitude- makeup is supposed to be one of the most fun and exciting aspects of your wedding! Wear a white or light colored shirt with a neckline that resembles your wedding dress.
What accommodations are needed on my wedding day?
Each artist requires table space, an outlet, and a specific chair type. Natural light is preferred, and most venues/homes are prepared for this setup.
How should my party prep for the wedding day?
Waxing, threading, or derma planning should be done at least two days prior. No injections, peels, lasers, microneedling, microblading, or other invasive procedures should be done at least 4-6 weeks before makeup application. Clean, moisturized faces are a must for flawless makeup application.
How long does hair and makeup take?
Typically, we allocate 45 minutes - 1 hour time slots for wedding attendees only. For the bride, we allocate 1.5-2 hours for bridal makeup because every detail matters.
Can I have multiple looks or touch-ups on my wedding day?
Absolutely! We offer hourly touch-up rates, starting post-services completion. Feel free to reach out if you need more information or have any other questions!
